Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in ECHO Singapore 2009 which will be held 14-16 October 2009 at the Clinical Research Centre, National University of Singapore. This meeting is jointly organised with National Heart Centre and other cardiac-care hospitals in Singapore, and held under the auspices and sponsorship of the Singapore Cardiac Society. ECHO Singapore has evolved to become a premier educational program designed to provide updates for physicians, trainees, technologists and other allied health professionals who share a common interest in the use of imaging for the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disorders. As with previous meetings, we believe that ECHO Singapore 2009 will be just as rewarding to attendees!
In line with the theme “Cardiovascular Ultrasound in Practice”, the program will highlight the use of Echocardiography and complementary imaging techniques in clinical practice. Expert overseas and local faculty will share their knowledge with participants in this two-and-a-half day meeting through didactic lectures and symposia on state-of-the-art cardiovascular imaging, interactive presentations and hands-on sessions highlighting tricks and tips in image acquisition and interpretation. Cases will be liberally used to emphasize teaching points. For 2009, we are soliciting abstracts of your high-quality research work for presentation. As customary, attractive prizes await the winners of this and other competitions!
No effort has been spared in organizing ECHO Singapore 2009 and making this a rich educational experience. We look forward to your participation in this exciting event.
